A stabilization device with a tricot anchor pad and fixed posts. The anchor pad is made of a breathable, nonabsorbent tricot polyester fabric designed for patient comfort and skin safety. The design allows for the monitoring of the insertion site.

It is designed to secure a winged peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) line without the use of sutures, which helps eliminate accidental needlesticks and reduce unscheduled restarts. 

The device uses an adhesive pad and a mechanical closure (fixed posts and transparent “gull-wings”) to hold the catheter in place, which is faster and easier to apply than traditional sutures.
